Our Cancer Journey
Over a two year battle with cancer and dealing with the impacts that Covid 19 has had on our health care system in Ontario - there have been many lessons learned. What is most surprising is that many of the needed fixes are related to "the small stuff" and could be easily addressed with coherent and coordinated direction from those in charge of the system and those who operate the more than 4,000 transfer payment agencies in Ontario that deliver the care we rely on.
Each week a short chapter will be emailed out and attached to this website. Each chapter is about a 4 minute read and offers a challenge and a potential solution to over two dozen issues that make our system mediocre at best.
This is not to point fingers or ascribe blame but simply point out those things which keep our system from being a "good" system. The patients, residents and taxpayers should expect no less!
